Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs)

LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes) are small, solid light bulbs which are extremely energy-efficient. Until recently, LEDs were limited to single-bulb use in applications such as instrument panels, electronics, pen lights and, more recently, strings of indoor and outdoor Christmas lights. Manufacturers have expanded the application of LEDs by "clustering" the small bulbs.

Very high quality LED’s provide long lasting performance. All LED’s are matched for color and CRI. 50,000-hour life is based on functional light quality. The body of each lamp is solid aluminum. The aluminum of each lamp acts as a heat-sink providing thermo heat conductivity. This keeps the LED junction temperature well below the manufacturer’s specification. The lamps stay cool and the lumens are maintained for longer life.
