Typical Warehouse

High bay fixtures using 400-watt high-pressure sodium lamps were used to illuminate this warehouse. We designed and changed the primary lighting system to include a mixture of 400-watt pulse rated metal halide high bay fixtures and 1000-watt metal halide high bay fixtures. The result was a better quality of light and increased vertical and horizontal foot-candles in the aisles. The warehouse manager reported less picking errors due to increased visibility.
